About Me

I like to talk. Besides, I eat and sleep a lot. I enjoy food so much. MMM. Hanging out with pals is one of my normal activities and oh.. I like roses. Nobody knew that (= I'm not nice when I'm annoyed. Who would? If you know me well enough, you'll agree to me that I'm a crazy and funny mofo!! As for music, it doesn't even have to be listed out because it's already a necessity in life.

Changing slowly..

Posted by mayyan at 03:52 PM on September 11, 2006.

I started blogging as a Xangan. I switched to Tabulas after a few months in Xanga, which's like 2 years ago. Right now, I'm accepting the fact that I prefer Xanga than Tabulas. I'm not following the crowd, if Tabulas allowed me to change the layout or colours freely, like I can manage to do so in Xanga, I'd definitely stay. I know we can still change the layout by changing all the html codes but I'm shitty at that, and I really can't be bothered to figure out the codes.

I guess I'm going back to Xanga.

And it feels weird because when I'm on Tabulas, I feel like I can just write out anything and I often end up being really long-winded here. Yet, In Xanga, I'm normally keeping everything short and simple. *Shrugs*

Don't know if I'll still post here but I think once in a while I'll be adding an entry or two here. Afterall I've been here for quite some time already.

Check me out here when you miss me ok? =D

It's simple anyway, cause it's the cyber world where everyone just needs to click.

Ahn Yeong!

Posted by mayyan at 03:03 PM on September 7, 2006.

Came back to city yesterday and supposingly I was gonna attend my french class. However.. The laziness was eating me up and I ended up going to a Korean restaurant together with Victor. Whoopness.

The barbeque beef was pretty awesome though. In Feb we went to the one in Boxhill and Victor so wanted to have the beef ribs that we had that time and I was looking forward to the spicy hot pot as well but MEHH. We both got the wrong orders, what a shame. No big deal though, they were both good.

Speaking of which, there were two locals sitting next to us. Judging from their costumes I could guess that they were colleaugues. Well anyway, two both of them got the same barbeque beef thing, and they had like one for each of them which made it two. Sooo, the food came and they started eating. For not more than 3 minutes, one of them excused himself to the washroom I guess. Pretty common isn't it? So I just ignored them and continued indulging in my meal. (Disclaimer: I wasn't stalking them! The man sat less than one meter away from me so everything he did seemed really visible to me)

Victor and I chatted while eating. We were finally done with the food and very spontaneously I turned to my left for a bit, trying to get attention from one of the waiters there so that Victor could settle the bill.

Eh? The man's not back yet?

Lmfao. (I found it so funny, I had no idea why *shrugs*)

I told him about this and he said he realised the same thing as well. The friend of that man was being polite and didn't eat unless the friend was back. Anyway, I think he couldn't be more patient anymore and started putting those slices of beef into his mouth.

We continued observing the situation. The man still wouldn't appear back on the dining table. I tried guessing, wonder did he faint in the gents or not. Victor just said he must be suffering from a diarrhea or something..

The friend stood up and headed towards the washroom direction.

He left the friend's wallet, mobile and PDA on the table though O_O . I could reach them in just 3 seconds! But I dared not risk the fact that I might get caught stealing in a Korean restaurant. Thought of pulling out like one or two notes from the wallet though =P , but I guess I was too chicken to do illegal stuff like that.

The man finally came back!! Looking perfect and well. To our surprise, they asked for the bill already and geez, his food was like untouched. When the waiter came cleaning up their table I saw the waiter laughing, the other waitress came and held up the bottle of beer which level of beer remained the same as when not opened. Such a huge waste!!

And then Victor asked me:"Why are you so pissed?"

*Shrugs*

Am playing Limp Bizkit's Behind blue eyes (classic!) on my iTunes. I remember it was 4.15pm and till now I still hear that song. Ah?

Apparently stupid boyfriend has changed my settings, practically iTunes is repeating one song for me. Geez.

It was our 6th month together 2 days ago and what we did was: He stayed at his own apartment and I was at uncle's, having delivery pizzas as dinner with Brian while watching Futurama. Oh wow.

Yesterday sounded like a belated celebration though. We cheated a bit when we were having fun taking those Japanese sticker photos again in the photo shop. Wrote Tuesday's date instead of yesterday's, haha. 6 months is nothing compared to many other long term relationships but considering that we won't be able to spend time together when it comes to the one year anni, this is what we had to do. Sounds so pathetic huh? I know, don't have to remind me. This is ldr afterall. Rawr.

The weather has gone back to winterish. It's been raining for the whole morning yesterday and I don't know if I should describe the day as refreshing, cooling or very cold. The sun was yet to be seen but today's good. When I was walking to the Queen Victoria market just now, the sun smiled happily at me  (This seriously makes me sound like a retard, lmao).

Love the sun! Sun

Tram tickets checkers a.k.a the inspectors are super hardworking lately. Victor just got checked againnn 3 hours ago right after he went down the tram. He was damn lucky again because I gave him MY tram ticket right after I decided to talk walk to Queen Vic Market while we were on the tram! He owes me 400 dollars now! Oh, saw the inspectors along Elizabeth St as well when I wanted to get on a tram. They were practically waiting on the station and once passengers got down they started checking already. I didn't have any coins to get the ticket for myself so I had go get down on the next stop. Bitch. Walked and walked and luckily I spotted the city circle tram which provided free ride! But it's still a long way to talk from La Trobe to bouke, grr.

Rump steak in the fridge tralala. Now when should I get it cooked..? Hmmmmm...

Life..

Posted by mayyan at 04:12 PM on September 5, 2006.

      ...

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails.

RIP Steve Irwin

Posted by mayyan at 09:42 PM on September 4, 2006.

It's a loss for losing this man who so loved animals.

Steve Irwin

Steve Irwin 1962-2006

Born in Essendon, Melbourne. Ended life in North Queensland, attacked while 'doing what he loved best'.

(For some reason I think the crocodile looks cute)

==========

Uncle allowed me to drive to Bunning Warehouse just now! That was cool, considering that I haven't driven in a while. Just found out that I don't even have to put on the P plates as I'm holding a tourist license, that's nice!

I hate my boyfriend for being sucha homely man.

It's awesome that he brings me around for food and all (which most of the time I initiate) but I don't think his life is pretty much being labeled as interesting. Whooptidoo. He's not a studious nerd (I just love calling him a nerd) but seriously, I wonder how he spends most of the time at home without doing much. Now, it makes me wonder how the hell I spent my previous 1 and a half months here with him.

I don't know. Maybe spending time alone with him is enough, vice versa. Is this what we call love and happiness?

I figured that one of our most done activities isssss - Watching Stephen Chow's movies while eating instant noodles. Stephen Chow's old school movies rock by the way. And.. Going online, argue, talk about the most random things, walk for a bit in a not so cool weather, well you get the picture.

I survived.

Blame it on him? Or blame it on his not very outgoing friends?

Despite all these facts, he's still a sweet guy. I laugh so much when I'm with him =) albeit he's still a faggit when it comes to ourdoor activities.

I'm not trying to protest, just wanna whine for a bit, like what I did to Monn Monn this evening.

One more thing. Seriouslyyyy, do you think feeding your boyfriend in the public is something too intimate? And no I'm not talking about the mouth-to-mouth feeding sausages thing but yknow.. like once in a while, you help your boyfriend to peel the shell off a prawn and instead of putting the shell-free-prawn onto his plate, you shove it into his mouth (or okay, maybe you put it in his mouth politely), That kinda feed. Is it too much? If you think it's too much, then screw you.

Boy.. That kinda action is considered as hypocritical by one or two of his friends. They call this fake, trying to be lovely and whatsoever. Geez, get a life. It's either you're jealous that your girlfriend doesn't do the same thing to you, or you indeed have a problem with that. In that case, GO BACK TO CHINA DUDE!! I thought Australia is a more open country? Hewwo, even Malaysians have no complaints on this.

Or vice versa. Cause I think your girlfriend's an ass anyway. Either one of you influences each other, more likely to be your assy girlfriend though. Sue me, I have prejudice against her and that's what I call instinct. BOOYAH!

Getting out of topic.

Well, maybe boyfriend's just too busy with uni life. The angel in me keeps telling me to be more understanding; and the wild little devil in me has been telling me: U live a boring life! BOO!!!!

 Do I?

The other me with a huge ass bright yellow halo tells me: That's cause you've got nothing better to do you moron! You're freelancing and you don't have proper things to do, of course you'd feel bored!

I'll accept the latter. I'm just an outdoorzy person with too much free time and too limited outdoor activities.

Hating the fact that I dont have many friends here as well, that's the biggest reason I guess. AHHHHHH.

Can't wait to get back to study life. Occasionally I feel damn useless. I wanted to get a job like a month before this and until now I still can't be bothered to step into shops and try to look for one. Geez.

Don't get me wrong anyway. Involving self into social activities does not mean that I'm desperate for friends. I just wanna use up my time in a way which provides more benefits.

When the clock reads 12am, it's gonna be 6 months since the day we hooked up. That's like super fast, so much has happened in between. O well. That silly boy must've forgotten anyway. Wonder what's he doing with his friend at home now. So far I'm very alright with this friend of his anyway.

LIFEEEEEEEEE...

NIGHTS.
