About Me

I like to talk. Besides, I eat and sleep a lot. I enjoy food so much. MMM. Hanging out with pals is one of my normal activities and oh.. I like roses. Nobody knew that (= I'm not nice when I'm annoyed. Who would? If you know me well enough, you'll agree to me that I'm a crazy and funny mofo!! As for music, it doesn't even have to be listed out because it's already a necessity in life.

back for the zillionth time

Posted by mayyan at 12:19 AM on February 11, 2006.

(Before you read this, check out "Two Chinese Boys" at www.YouTube.com. Wickedly hilarious!)

How's everyone doing? I've been neglecting this blog page over and over again. Each time when I feel like blogging and as though there's so much inspiration in me, I log in and poof! Everything just goes away, don't know what to type anymore.

Lately I've been really emo thanks to some troublemakers. However it's over so it doesn't matter anymore, shouldnt let shit like this break or bring me down. Rumours do come all the time, no idea why. & the truth should never left untold but whatever, I dont see myself in guilt.

ok so here's a briefing of what i did for the past few weeks.

Chinese New year was just like any other new years, burning hot. Joon's back from London for CNY, I missed him, always did anyway because he's the wicked and funny one. So yup, spent some time with him and before this I was hanging out with Audrey and Han boy quite lot. Went to the salvation army place for some volunteery work. Yeah it sounds great and all but actually all we had to do was to guide the kids to do their homework and stuff. However this sounds too easy isn't it, but no. They were all hyper, super. There were these two girls who had impressed me the most because they took like half an hour to think of 3 names. Jesus, 3 NAMES. Figure that out alright. One of them was really naughty, that i must admit. Pretty fierce if I'm not mistaken but it's ok I was naughty (still am) and according to many people I'm fierce too so I knew how to deal with her. Thumbs up for me wheee. At last, she was being such a good girl that she finished her work.

During the most emo period, these kids kinda cheered me up, indirectly. I'm not in Ipoh now but I do miss them. Will definitely go back to the place when i return.

I like "Fearless" the movie by Jet Li. The storyline isn't correct, though. Yep Huo Yuan Jia's the starter for Jing Wu, but he didn't have a daughter but a son who's a fuck up. Yada yada. Lately I've no idea why but am feeling damn proud for being a Chinese. Must admit that the movie influenced me for a bit.

I had flu. I had to stay at home and the result's that I've finished watching 3 to 4 sets of Hong Kong series in less than a week's time. For those who know how series go you'll know that it's kinda abnormal to finish them in such a short period of time.

Movies and telly shows do influence people. My brother and I feel like working in hong Kong in the future, whee. Just for fun.

Anyhow I'm right here in S'pore. & guess what, I miss Ipoh and my family. Will be flying away tomorrow night. *yawns* Oh yeah gonna have lunch with Aunty Judy and Yeen, should be fun.

Nike whee

Posted by mayyan at 04:32 PM on February 11, 2006.

(Yeen is shooting! Gonna be taller than me soon, hopefully not. Heh.)

Just bought a new pair of running shoes from the Nike shop in Takeshimaya! Not forgetting a pair of shorts as well.. overspending already, shoosh. Met up with Yeen Yeen and Aunty Judy at Shaw. & whoopsy daisy, I was half an hour late, what a shame. I couldnt sleep last night, ended up rolling on the bed till about 5.30am and finally got to sleep for a bit before the dog started barking at 8am-ish as though he was the alarm clock or cock or something.

Ok so I had lunch at the club together with Yeen's granny, uncle and aunty. Had fun talking about China and its history. Everyone was nice, and I think Yeen's grandma is cute ^^ . She is so awesome, she was from Shanghai and yet she speaks many languages like mandarin, cantonese, hokkien, fluent japanese and english, and maybe more. And I thought i could speak alot, not after I met her. It's time to learn more.

Called my mum and talked for a bit because I miss her, and also my other family members.

This is a really short update cause I'm just trying to kill time for now. Catch up with you guys soon. xoxoxo

Geelong

Such a peaceful place, where everyone drives safely. Subway food was okay, and although it's summer but it's still pretty cold at night especially when the wind blows. Oh yeah, happy Chap Goh Mei to all the chinks out there (: Have fun throwing mandarin oranges.

Posted by mayyan at 02:23 AM on February 14, 2006.

Ah geez, I was asleep since like 10.33pm (I KNOW how early it was ok, don't have to tell me) somehow my cell rang at like 4.49bloodyam. Couldnt pick it up in time plus I'm feeling all awake now, rawrrr. Who was it!? Confess!

Am talking to a few friends now. Telling them what happened at the airport the other day. Ok so the story goes... There's this really charming and hot hunk (whoohoo!) with a bunch of people the other day at the international arrival hall. So i had to make a phone call with the payphone and I had trouble using it (am not sucha hick! I did insert coins and all, and whenever the other party picked up the phone, the call just hung up). So obviously I needed some help aight? So I said "Excuse me!" really loudly, and whoohooooo!! In that bunch of guys, hunkish hunk came over xD! Well.. unfortunately he just explained a bit and walked off, awww.

end of story.

For those who find this random, I'm telling you that i AM random. I've bought the new prepay starter pack already. Am using Vodafone. So for those who wanna contact me, it's +61416715.... Ok maybe i shouldn't list out the complete number just in case I'll get prank calls and all. Just send me email or something if you really want it alright. (wow i speak as though I'm so wanted, that's not the case anyways.) It's so expensive to text everyone telling them my new number because it takes 35cents, au! for each sms. It's like a ringgit already. Reaaally have to cut down on texting, I'm a bloody texter I'd say.

It's February 14th!!

I almost forgot that it's Valentine's day. All those who've said Happy Valentine's to me have reminded me. Thanks peeps, same goes to you. Ive spent many Valentines alone, so it doesn't matter. Note: Not pathetic.

The summer is cold >.<

Shopping day

Posted by mayyan at 02:38 PM on February 15, 2006.

(I tried Kangaroo meat and it was cool.)

Early in the morning for yesterday, as I woke up really early, i followed my aunt to send Brian to school. Later on I thought I could join my aunt for gym or something but I had to pay $10au, didn't worth it I thought. I walked around and my aunt drew me a map so that I could walk home and didn't have to wait for an hour.

She explained pretty nicely, telling me that I would pass by the Christian College and all.. all the road names were given to me as well. It would take me 10 minutes.

So i walked out of the club and headed straight to the pedestrian lane. I walked and walked, reached the main road and crossed it. & I remembered aunty saying that I was supposed to walk straight till the end until I reach a T-junction, and so i did. However, it took more than 10 minutes, so I was wondering if my aunt was trying to comfort me that the journey was short when it's not. I reached the traffic light like after 15 minutes and I could recognise the petrol station and Subway. I knew the way, and so i walked and walked. Geez, it took like 20 minutes! I was longing to see the word "Hemswell" but I kept getting different names. There was a man who was gardening and I thought I would ask him but he said he couldn't help. I kept on walking.. Oh there it was, Hemswell court. I was home.

Aunt came back, and I complained that it was a pretty long journey. She just said that I walk too little when I was in malaysia. Umm, well i thought maybe she walked really alot.

Later on when we were going out, I saw the club again after the car drove off like 3 minutes. Eh? So near??

Aunt: What!? You used the highway? HAHAHAHA! No wonder you complained that it was far away! Hahaha!

Me: Ummmmmm. Ok, so i used the wrong way haha.. *still a bit confused*

Aunt: How could you get lost when i drew you the map, HAHAHAHA! *laughing happily*

Me:

My bad! :p

So my aunt brought me to some shopping complexes and all. Had lunch at this place called Bizzy B Cafe ( i thought this name was quite gay), and the lamb shank wasn't nice compared to Secret Recipe's. It was small and they gave sooo much mashed potato that I swear if i happened to finish it I'd spew the next minute. Spinach didn't taste that good in a western way as well.

The mall wasn't that big but the shops were tempting. Country Road, Quiksilver, Guess and many more attractive yet expensive shops. Yesterday was just a day to walk around so I didn't really shop. Bought salmon for tea mmmm, had too much, though. After walking around my aunt then drove me to the seaside at Torquay or something so that I could have a look at more shops like Ripcurl, Billabong, Roxy and all the beach wear shops.

I went in to a factory outlet shop and gosh, the things were so frigging cheap. 20 aussie dollars for a pair of roxy pants, where can you find such price in Malaysia? More things to buy but I only got myself 2 pairs of pants and 2 purses for my friends. Imma sucha good friend !

Went back and picked Brian up from school. I napped for 2 hours which was totally awesome because I woke up at 5am. Thanks to who? KANE SKELLY. Found out that he was the one who called. Besides, when I was napping he texted me as well, woke me up again. This morning at 2.39am when I was sleeping again, he bloody called again. Ah shit. I think i swore at him many times, as far as I can remember Lol. His problem for waking me up ALL THE TIME. I wonder how'd he know when to call.

My uncle has come back from the States.

Had strawberry cake from The Cheese Cake Shop as tea. Mmmm. I drank too much today. Starting from a glass of milk, to a whole bottle of water, and another cup of apple juice, followed by a cup of tea~ I love drinking.

Gonna go disturb Brian now, and he gets annoyed easily. whooptidoo. Laters!

A Nightmare (on 2nd thought, not so..)

Posted by mayyan at 11:55 AM on February 16, 2006.

Yet again, I managed to wake up before dawn. It wasn't on purpose, though. Nobody woke me up this time. (However, Kane still called at 2.49am, balls .)

It's the first time I can't go back to sleep after waking up from a dream. It wasn't exactly something big but MAX DIED!! Max is my chihuahua at home and although he's only spent 2 years with us but we treat him like a family member (dogs ARE family members), really close I mean. So yeah, in this dream, it was pretty odd as well. He was really small(already small enough in real life), smaller than a palm. Something sharp poked him, and he was also banged by a car or something. I remember praying in the dream and hoping that he would heal although I knew he was already dead.

So afterwards, god knows how long after in the dream, I kinda accepted the fact that he was dead. It was scary, I told my bro, and it was odd enough because i remember my bro telling me not to cry in the dream.

And then, I woke up.

Was sweating for a bit..  I missed Maxy so much. Was thinking of the  very first time we brought him back home, he was so tiny that we could put him in the water bottle. Thinking of how i used to punish him and all when he peed and pooed around the house. Thinking thinking... and tears started to flow. Silly, I know. I didn't know that I would miss that dude so much, although he's fucking annoying when he barks way too much.

Looked at my mobile, oh well. 5.29am. A nightmare woke me up.

the dawg.

Maxy!

[I miss Casper and Oscar as well. DAWGS!!!!! (oh yeah it's the year of the dog!)]

===

I'm going to run out of Aussie dollars pretty soon. Overspending sucks. Any donations? (=

The weather is so hot today. I tried to nap but there's no way I can fall asleep with the heat. 31 degree celsius today whoooooo.

Better turn cold tonight!

RAWRRRRRRR

Posted by mayyan at 04:39 PM on February 18, 2006.

I just spent 13 dollars on a pretty dumb show called "Date Movie" =(  Compared to Malaysia, to watch a movie here it's like 4 times more expensive! Reaaaaally shouldn't have watched it, geez. If the show was worth it I wouldn't be whining now anyway.

I like the Viatnamese beef noodles which I tried yesterday. Monn Monn was being such a darling for bringing me around. Went shopping at Bridge Road and Chapel Street (I actually spelt Cheapel street just now). Bridge Road's things were pretty cheap, I guess. They have like sales going on everywhere but I didn't buy a lot. Just a handbag which was made of cloth, kinda japanese-ish, and some tops. Chapel Street's things were more expensive and I could only afford to go on window shopping =P It's time to change more Ringgit into dollars, sigggggggh.

It was hot yesterday, aunt said it was around 35 degree. Changed into a sleeveless and I regretted for not wearing flip flops and shorts. Chocolate was pretty awesome at Max Benner and geez, it was so expensive (yet again) for all the parkings!

Monn Monn went clubbing last night without me because I didn't have a place to stay in Melbourne (Note to ignorant people: I'm in Geelong, not melbourne city). Anyone who can offer me a place to stay for a night or two? Francessca :D ?

I'm still not getting over with the 13 dollars yet so I won't blog too much for now. Date movie, bitch!

Laters!

Melbourne City.. yet again.

Posted by mayyan at 01:26 PM on February 20, 2006.

Was there again but with Uncle and Aunty this time. Had Yum Cha with another 2 more people who're about my age, just slightly older, maybe a year or two. They're from Guang Dong, quite nice actually. Thought they were honkies as well because they spoke Cantonese.

(Yum cha = dim sum)

Nothing much was done. Walked around Richmond and I was about to look for Fran but ended up joining the crowd to roam around Kew. The brother and sister's mum wants to move to Australia and they have to look for a house for her. Judging from the area, they must be rich because houses in Kew are at least half a mil for one. WHOO.

[Interruption: Someone just called me a shorty. Whip to be precise.

....

!!!!!!!!!

Maybe it's normal coming out from someone who's 186cm but hey.. That's the first! ]

Shopped at the supermarket and all, later on along a street-which-name-ive-forgotten there's this Japanese Festival Fair thing going on so we decided to drop by to have a look. As a matter of fact there were so many Japanese people, and some were in Kimonos! So kawaii! Actually, even some locals were dressing in Kimonos as well, the atmosphere was totally japanese-ish, plus the green field and trees, too bad there wasn't Sakura haha. There were some stalls, some selling coffee (western, meh) and also some Japanese food. We wanted to get some food but Guess what? The queue was about 15 to 20 meters long, I swear that I'm not exaggerating. So it's not like we were gonna wait for sucha unreasonably long time just for Japanese food when we could always eat at the restaurant or something right? Gave up.

I wanna go to Lygon Street. Well I have already been there but I havent eaten the Italian food there >.<

I'm actually pretty bored now. Oh yeah I watched telly!! (Because I dont watch telly most of the time. In fact, maybe once in a month or something? [note: I have life!! I used to be teased as no life for that]) But hang on, I used to watch "Lost", DVD, On computers. Does that count? Well, to be exact I dont commit myself to telly programs. Yup. Occasionally I still watch like 30 minutes, though. Like.. MTV.. Channel V.. I've watched like 2 weeks of Whichever-Country's Idol and I gave up after that. Oh, 30 minutes of America's Next Top Model as well. Yada yada.

Ok so anyways, I watched "Judge Judy", some court show or something. It was pretty interesting actually, and shiet.. The Judge, Judy, actually looks a bit like the Aunty Judy I know.

My aunt just bought me Hot Cross Bun, something which comes out only during Easter. Mm.

Oh oh and Jin is coming on the 10th if I'm not mistaken! Adelaide... =.= . Not gonna meet up with her afterall I guess. She'll be there just for a few days only anyways.. and sucks to be her cause she'll miss out the gathering. Nothing big, just Yeen and me :D Her favourite people on earth!! Whee!! (perasan-ness never fails to make people happy) So yes Jin, BOOYAH!!

Actually, screw this entry. It doesn't make sense and it's hella boring.

Sydney.. or not?

Should I? A local friend promised that he would bring me around and all when I'm there. However, it'll take at least 180 dollars from me just for the air tickets..

A decision pretty hard to make. I could use that money to buy many more things..

MSN chat was never like this

Posted by mayyan at 10:10 PM on February 22, 2006.

Today, I was chatting with my bitches (), apparently everyone had gone bonkers and we started doing something really childish such as naming each other with cartoon characters. It started of when MSN messenger was being sucha faggot again, messages couldn't be delivered most of the time. That happened to me last night, and it happened to Fran this evening I guess, and right now, Jin.

Screw you, bitch.

(bitch refers to msn (=  )

So yes, and actually I just started with the handwritting program since yesterday although it's already been out since yonks ago. Therefore, I started drawing really random stuff and we laughed our arses off.

My fugly drawings:

Banana in Pyjamas

green banana

Jin was trying to attack back when we called her a teletubby but somehow..

Jin: Yeah and Yan's banana in pyjamas

Me: OK!! but can I be in green please??? The non mature banana will do xD

That explains the banana's colour

And then, Jin was supposed to be Tinky Winky right... (Err, Like I knew what's the purple teletubby is called. Vern told us.. that woman used to watch teletubby I guess....)

Tinky Winky

tinky winky

Last but not least.. The pink power ranger. =X I suck at this, so much.

"Pink Ranger"

Pink Ranger

And she thinks that it looks like a naked turtle.. geez.

After a while, I decided to draw this, aha, I thought this turned out pretty well actually =D

Art

Haha oh well, cut the "this is art" crap. Scribbling is just so fun!

A girl and a guy.Guy likes girl. Girl dislikes guy. Girl told guy off directly. Guy doesn't ruddy care. Girl is fucking annoyed. Guy keeps annoying girl. Girl starts ignoring guy. Guy thinks that girl likes him. Girl is double annoyed. Girl continues ignoring guy. Guy keeps bothering. Girl is away from home. Girl has another number. Guy finds out number and calls at unreasonable hour. Girl is super annoyed. Guy looks for girl's friend who's a total stranger and whines. Girl is totally freaked out. Guy thinks that girl ignores because of guilt. Guy is so fucking thickfaced that girl can't even be bothered anymore now.

Jerks should die ASAP and rot in hell.

========================================

I spent a night at Victor's place. It wasn't planned actually, just that relatives and I were at the apartment and so I decided to have a sleep over instead of heading back to Geelong. and no not just me and him, Christine the sister was there as well d'oh. It was fun. We talked so much and as usual I crapped a lot as well heh. We must've spent at least 4 hours on chatting. It was nice. Might head to Hong Kong sometime this year so that we can meet up and hang out there. It's gonna be good.

Melbourne was raining cats and dogs yesterday.. Ice stones fell for a couple of minutes as well it seems. The night was pretty cold but at least I had my windbreaker with me woot.

Was checking out Vic's Louis Vuitton bag. It was aaawesomeee.. And also Christine's. Geez. I want one. And oh.. I guess I've fallen in love with Christine's mobile, might just get one after my bloody National Service. Will be spending a few more nights there next week. Following Vic to attend lessons at his Uni as well  . That just reminds me of my bro because when I was 14 I used to tag along and attend his college lessons in KL.

Just succeeded in bribing Shoong boy so that he could ring up Vern for me. OK so now I need to get an extra pair of Quiksilver boardshorts.

I'm knackered for now. And Vernieeeee, wherefore art thou?!

Who steals the limelight? Jin.

Posted by mayyan at 12:01 AM on February 28, 2006.

16 years ago, a hyper woman happened to come into this world. After turning into a teenager, she laughs, talks loudly, hangs out and does almost all the funny and crazy things together with another hyper lady. The two of them have kinda been through ups and downs, thicks and thins, and all the sappy shit you could think of. They're contagious, they make people laugh, because they laugh all the time.

The lady is me, and the woman is Jin!! My lesbo partner(we're always kidding, so be intelligent. You decide whether to believe it or not), the crappy woman, the one who goes hyper all the time and never gets tired. *Flatters flatters flatters *Young & pretty, tall and slim, smart and lazy (no one says it must be a compliment), and also energetic.

I LOVE HER TO BITS.

Happy Birthday ^^ (and also to your mum!). Although I'm not in Malaysia to celebrate it with you but it's okay! I'll be seeing you soon! And I actually made an effort to do this thingy for you.. although it's fugly, but you must at least appreciate it BAH! Wuv you! Be a queen, for a day.

I didn't know it'd take so ruddy long to do this.. Copying and pasting and all, trying to find photos of us was pretty hard as I'm not using my own PC. Luckily i had some in photobucket.. I guess i took one and a half hour for editing this! & it didn't turn out perfect as well cause I'm sucha noob, so, dont blame noobs because they're new. (=

XOXOXOXO!!

Be good. =P
