About Me

I like to talk. Besides, I eat and sleep a lot. I enjoy food so much. MMM. Hanging out with pals is one of my normal activities and oh.. I like roses. Nobody knew that (= I'm not nice when I'm annoyed. Who would? If you know me well enough, you'll agree to me that I'm a crazy and funny mofo!! As for music, it doesn't even have to be listed out because it's already a necessity in life.

Blog updates

Posted by mayyan at 04:25 PM on May 17, 2006.

Recently has been really boring for me due to some reason. Form 6 has started for most of the people I know, those who are not taking form 6 are having fun with their college life I guess, or working life rather. I've been staying at home since the day I escaped from national service, slacking at home. I swore that I was gonna hit the gym at least 5 times a week and it turned out to be only one. Gah!!!

I was so bored that I started blog hopping, something which I haven't done in a while. And then I realised... Everyone's still doing well with their blogs! Geez, am I just lazy or what? Not like this is a homework thing or whatever but there's still this little disturbing feeling in your heart. Ok this sounds uberly weird, am just gonna admit that I feel a bit left out. No, not me, my blog. Mmmm, fuck this. I don't even know what I'm trying to say anymore. So okay, I'm taking a gap year actually, a last minute decision. By this, it means that I'll still have another half a year to spend. Ummm.. I know this isn't the best decision but yeah, many more reasons shall left untold. I'm gonna take up some yoga lessons, and also picking up violin. Hopefully everything goes fine for me :D

Period cramp sucks. I'm off.

oh wireless how I love thee~

Am currently sitting on the sofa, watching telly and also going online. Speaking of multi-tasking, I guess I suck at it.

Anyhoo, what urged me to post up this new entry is the advertisement which I just saw. I seriously think that Osim's iGallop is BLOODY OBSCENE.

Actually, it's the advertisement to be precise. I saw the real thing at shopping malls and those gallops thingy were pretty fine, not when I saw the advertisement (anyway the ad might've come out much earlier, pardon me for being outdated because you can actually count the total time I watch telly in my life). The lady was on the seat, hands placed in front, moving up and down, and the movement was.. Well, a lady riding on the man when having sex. You get the picture.

No complaints, just a random topic. It's a humping machine! *tries to quit thinking bout it  *

Currently listening to: sound coming out from telly
Currently watching: random channels from astro. channel hopping that is.

Rotting more and more each day

Posted by mayyan at 12:13 PM on May 31, 2006.

You know what? I realised that freelancers are actually quite pitiful (not like I just realised, it's been a while). They don't have certain important things to do, they just live on without any purpose in life. They might go travel and all, enjoying life, but that's not the best thing afterall. When they're stuck in a pathetic little town with no friends, they might as well go bang their heads against the wall.

Therefore, I might as well go bang myself against the wall.

I'm a fall baby, birthday falls in August. As we know, we can drive at the age of 17, however, being a procrastinator that I always am, Ive only started taking my driving lessons about a fortnight ago. Boy.. I'm slow. It's okay, lessons were going well and I pissed the instructor off most of the time for not following the speed limit that he gave. Sorry dude. I feel like sucha noob when people ask me what am I doing these days and my answer is: Taking up driving lessons. Not sucha shameful thing but yeah, left out that is. >.<

I'm gonna take up A levels, and like I've mentioned, college is only starting in December. Pre-law, a pretty good package, just what I was looking for so I'm quite happy. Economics, Law and Psychology, the subjects which I were being undecisive about. Awesomelly enough, these 3 subs are in this pre-law package thing. I'm not sure if i can cope with law cause it's all about reading reading AND reading, but yeah, I'd love to take this as a challenge. Sometimes, I seriously wanna kill myself for being sucha lost person. I reckon I have a tad bit of talent in arts. Drawing, mmhmm.. I used to draw really beutiful things. But that was before i enter high school, because high school screwed me up, totally. Besides, music is also another lovely thing. Yeah, I learn music, but no I never thought of majoring in music because... I don't frigging know. However, once again, like I've mentioned, I'm picking up violin since I'm semi-done with my piano. So I guess 2007 will be a busy year for me, which I'm actually looking forward to after all these uneventful months (not exactly.. )

Speaking of uneventful, I've always wanted to talk abit about this ruddy national service. What do we do there? Okay, we wake up, have this dumbass exercise which is a total crap. For example: aerobics. Gosh, do they do what are they actually doing? (they refers to the trainers). There's this reaaaaaaaaally annoying and irretating malay woman, always pisses the shit outta everyone because all she knows is nothing and yet loves complaining and scolding people as though she was some sorta professional. First off, she was supposed to teach us aerobics. Do you know what kinda music they play for aerobis? This kinda tradisional-like Malay song. We were totally speechless with that, I'm not complaining bout malay songs but c'mon, aerobic! No beats no nothing and you call that aerobic? What's worse's that, that dumb malay bitch didn't jump at all in aerobics. She did movements which made no difference with Malay dance.

Boo.

Ok. Marching. Whoever who has experience in marching knows that ur hand goes 90 degress in front and 45 degress at the back. Like when you swing it.. and Haha, i laughed my arse off when that bitch was teaching a poor trainee the other day. We were supposed to freeze ourselves and trainers were supposed to correct us if our hands positions are not right. That ignorant woman frigging pushed one of the trainees hands up to 90 degree when it was supposed to be 45! WTF.

Speaking of profession...

enough of bitching. Back to the topic:

After all this exercise crap, we have our breakfast. Lousy and oily food, ick! And then we need to change our uniforms. And then we enter class. What class? Character building class. They call it CB class, we call it chibai class. The government must've expected us, the 18 year olds, to be so immature. The syllabus is wow... they teach us about emotions and explain really little things which I actually don't remember anymore now. Games.. oh my god lah. Don't even wanna talk about it already.

Lunch time. The canteen will be bloody packed this time and we normally go back to own dorms and have our own food. After 2 hours of break time, we have our activities. Marching most of the time, and sometimes we listen to the trainers, teaching us how to run certain activities like flying fox or canoeing and all. So far, the only one which I've actually enjoyed during the whole programme is flying fox. And you know what? We don't need 3 months to do that.

The sun was scary. Inevitable anyway.

At night, we either watch movie in the buggy canteen (explanation: buggy - full of bugs ), or have our religion classes, or have cibai class again.

Lights off at 11pm. Suppose to wake up at 5 something but I normally wake up at 6. Oh yeah, just FYI, I was the dorm leader. God bless the dorm?

I just realised that the grammar for this entry is totally screwed up anyway, nevermind that

& that's it. So particularly, we waste time. That's why I couldn't wait to come out faster lah.. Form 6 letter was my saviour~ I spent a total amount of 30 days in the camp anyway, after counting out my holidays and shit. Good thing, because the water there was making me to go bald. In fact, I guess I'm still balding :|

Above is just a rough idea of the life in national service. Anyway, I'll be off to Canton in about 2 weeks' time. At last, something to do =)

Lunch time now! Later! (I just had noodles half an hour ago..)
